Some Assembly Required

Blue Mountain Team Building
THE IDEA
Similar to children’s toys and IKEA furniture, an effective team comes with Some Assembly Required. This innovative program is designed to identify the critical skills necessary to assemble a high performing team. Combing philanthropy with team building, this program encourages a corporate culture of collaboration, both at the team level and in the local community. Teams participate in a series of engaging activities building towards the final complex challenge that will put a brand new bike in the hands of a child who greatly deserves and appreciates it!
THE DETAILS
- Competing teams must ultimately build a child’s bike that will donated to a local charity
- Bike parts and tools are earned by completing several team challenges that require both teamwork and problem solving skills
- The culminating activity engages teams in a multi-staged assembly process, resulting in a new fleet of bikes and happy riders
THE RESULTS
- Encourage corporate social responsibility by giving back to the community in a tangible way
- Identify and practice the skills needed for team success
- Build relationships by getting your teams to play with a purpose
