Summit Team Building

Scott's stories kept us riveted. We really did "feel" what Scott was talking to us about..listening, hearing AND seeing it! His takeaways were perfect segues into vibrant group discussions immediately after. These discussions led to solid actions that my team and I will be plowing through in the weeks ahead

The Challenge

First National is Canada’s largest non-bank lender, offering both commercial and residential mortgage solutions. Having achieve the top of their market First national now turned their focus to maintaining their position and they knew that just doing what got them there would not be good enough. They knew they need to maintain a creative and innovative approach to business and continually fine tune their systems, their, processes, and their people.

As part of a national leadership conference Summit was asked to provide a ¾ day training solution to kick start their development focus for this conference. They wanted their leaders to be thinking in new ways and to break old habits by thinking outside the box.

The Solution

Summit developed a custom solution for First national Financial that involved a Keynote Workshop. Most keynote speakers just deliver their stock message and disappear. Transfer and results are limited at best. Summit President, Scott Kress, has been speaking and training for over 20 years and his unique collection of experience and skills enable him to provide a powerful message with the tools and strategies for follow through.

Starting with his presentation “Learning In thin Air” that shares his story of his ascent of Mount Everest, as well as learning from failures along the way, Scott created a custom workshop for First National Financial.

The engaging mountaineering story to the top of the world is the thread that ties it all together and adds the “wow” factor, but it was the theory, content, discussions, breakouts, and application that made it relevant and applicable to the group.

Each participant walked away with a new view as to their role in the business and with a list of actions to take them and the business to their next summit.
